I like it. I feel like some of the contrast is lost right above the toe of the shoe and around the edges a bit, which helps to give it a nice look of belonging with the background. I do feel like some of the lost contrast makes it almost look like it has pale glow.

The lighting looks fantastic! It shows off some of the texture in the old leather near the toe of the shoe but not so much as to throw off the streamlined outline that the lighting has created. The warm lighting gives a 'dusty' feel, like finding old things in an attic; it gives a kind of closeness and intimacy to the shot.
Suggestion-wise, it might be nice to see this with a little wider crop-- right now there's substantial space to the top of the show, but it's cropped close on either side. Also, there's a little red fleck right below the stitching that's a little out-of-place, you might want to edit that out.
I like how the lit area underneath the shoe hints at the curve of the heel-- I found myself following the line where the sole and the dip of the heel would be with my eyes. You used the lighting to create some really interesting shapes and lines here using a familiar object-- great job, and excellent shot!

Thanks a lot, dear, for the comment! I'm really glad for your words!
It is interesting to note that this photo likes more to drawers than photographers, and I know why... Technically, it isn't correct, but the result is pleasant for the eye!
Thanks for the suggestion about the red fleck below the stitching, I didn't see it, and I'm going correct it!

I like the lighting on the subject and how you managed to hide most of details and that is good otherwise it would be too busy. I would say that the focal point is the shoe laces and I would assume that would be the case for many others. If anything I would say try not to crop too tight where your focal point becomes the immediate center of the image. Otherwise it is a good shot.

This is the type of photograph that makes me go mmm and feel like I've stumbled on something big. YOu know that sound people make during educational lectures? When something just resonates with them? That's what I did here.

I like that only a small amount of the shoe is visible but it is just the right amount to not only make the shot identifiable as a shoe but also it creates a balanced composition
