Wow! This is beautiful, a very impressive photomanipulation.
There are a few things I really like about this:
Focal Point: I feel that there is a focal point in this piece (not necessarily where the focus is put where the eye goes in this case). I would say that it is where the two birds heads meet. That is a good spot for a focal point according to the Golden Ratio. Just be careful that other things aren't stealing the show. The flowers just below the birds feet are contrasting enough with the white of the bird that it almost wants to be the focal point. Be sure to create a sure spot in the image where the viewers eye goes first, then second, then third, and this heirarchy is what sends the message.
Clarity: The clarity of the image is very impressive. I know that this is something small but there is nothing worse than having a great piece and then uploading it and losing half of the pixels. You also did a nice job blurring the foreground and the less important parts of the image.
Color: The colors are beautiful and vibrant. You did a nice job of creating colors that are deep and interesting. I can't put a finger on an actual color scheme here (not complementary, analogous, monochramatic, etc.) You are bordering the line between just the right amount of interest and too many colors. Be careful with that.
Texture: I think probably the best part of this piece is the different textures that are used. The feathers, the flowers, the leaves, they all create fantastic textures, this part is particularly nicely done!
Overall, I love it! This is beautiful and that's why I wanted to write about it. Keep up the good work!
