Description
This was done as a 24hr contest from mizzd-stock. The contest rules were to use at least one of 3 photos as a reference. By noon I had the concept figured out, then the whole thing laid out later in the afternoon, but didn't start painting until around 8 or 9pm (12hrs into the contest). Finally finished around 4 in the morning - not a time I usually am awake at
It was fun doing a quick painting like this, again not something i find myself doing often, but may try again for the practice.

THIS, dear sister, is my critique.
The trees need to be darker in the background to bring little miss stubborn forward. You need a more specific light source, and make sure it catches the colors in that stained glass, cuz that is pretty.
That's all you really need in this pick is more contrast. I think everything else is just perfect.
Except maybe you need to add some tucans...

Oh yeah sure, just THROW a watercolor work of art together in a few measely hours! Meanwhile I have to sit over my watercolors and carefully plan them out like some sort of dangerous chemistry project! But YOU, oh, you can just spit on a piece of paper and slap some watercolor on it and it looks wonderful! Nya.
No seriously, this is EXCELLENT for a half-day project! It's gorgeous!
