This is great! I wish I'd seen it when I was researching ancient spiritual art for my "land art" project in my A level. Nice work. Also I disagree with the person who said the imperfections in the statue should be polished out (although its a valid opinion). I think it adds to the whole spiritual art feel.

My God, you do well at probing people to think. I have to pin what the lighting is about. I have my ideas of what this is about, however its based on my own opinion of the path of life. I just need to understand what the lighting is about. Light, dark, light. hmmmmm.....

The statue reminds me of prehistoric "mother earth" statuettes, somehow. It would look better if the imperfections on the clay (ΒΏis it clay? If so, well chosen material. It has implications.) were polished out.
The spiralling line reminds me of the celtic petrogliphs that we have around here in Galiza. They are also supposed to have a meaning associated with life, but I can't remember it right now. It looks good, but the "K.O." is a bit disturbing... Perhaps because I have associated all the elements with ancient cultures, and K.O. is a modern expression.
Anyway, good picture. I like it.
