I saw this tree the other day, half a stump and half a more youthful tree. I've seen only a few trees like this, now I don't hold the facts for the reason about how these trees look. I'm guessing they're cropped for their size, purposely let to flourish again but smaller just so they're not in the way.To me they look like fighters, continuing to grow no matter what the disadvantage. I wanted a tree-like home for Uhu and this is what came out of it

I love this one!!!! THe owl looks so wise; and it's great the way you've included a different veiw of inside the tree; really helps people get a feel for the depth of this pece. And i love the sketchy technique. And that's a really awesome way to think of the trees!!
