Please, can you tell me what extra smooth bristol paper you used? I should purchase it but I dont understand where to buy, more over there's often the word 'pad' like 'bristol pad' and I dont understand if is the same bristol paper extra smooth! I read only smooth, not extra... please help?

Do these start off with a faint pencil sketch which you add the shading too and then erase the undesirables? Or is it just the shading from scratch? Because this is simply mind blowing, I love the way the hair just flows so graciously.

How do you decide what to draw on a minimal drawing? Do you take a photo and digitally brighten it up to see what details you should draw? Or do you decide on your own??
