This is inspired by the WIPs I usually like to upload.As I always say, my habit is to keep drawings covered to prevent smudging and I let nothing touch the paper except more protective paper! But, at least twice while doing this, I got annoyed with myself at first glance for putting pencils straight on the drawing paper. Turned out I'd just tromp-ed my own oeil.

This is pencil (2B to 6B) on extra smooth Bristol board, 8 x 11".

<3 Your work never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for creating such captivating and inspiring pieces. I LOVE your eyelash work, they are all so immaculate and in theory seem so straightforward to create, but everytime I attempt to draw eyelashes, they end up feeling like I have left quite a lot to be desired. I have done one eye with lashes I was proud of, but heavily used a reference for the piece, it was a visine ad so

So glassy and lifelike. Β At first I thought this drawing must have been larger in life (for you to get that much detail) but the pencils reveal the true size. You have an amazing talent.
