did they ask you to do all the covers beforehand? that's what they did with me...
(it's cool that i got an early paycheck but on the other hand I'd have drawn better covers now that i more familiar with the characters)

Yup. All five covers.

Still working a full-time job, I draw when i get home. I came to the startling realization last weekend that I'll never reach a time when I'll be working on the comic from the start without a full-time job hanging around like a monkey on my back, so I've got to push through until I get the paycheck for the covers and I'm probably about halfway through the first issue before I get to even consider putting in my two week notice.

Damn those bills o'mine!

But yeah, I totally can see the progression in skill level from your covers to your interior work. Good stuff, man.
