I really agree on that! Blue is such a deep and moody colour, it has always been my fav, for many reasons..guess itΒ΄s just a really emotional and expressive colour, for me it is anyways!

I love the movement and emotion in this picture. It looks like the wolf is going to twist and leap right up and into the world behind the page. The touches of brown on his muzzle are perfect in how they contrast with those delicious blues. Her hair is like roots, rooting her to the ground, her body resembles in some ways a boulder (the pose and the back-view coupled with the very light colours) weighing her down, but her soul is free, leaping as wolf into the blue night sky. Very mystical and shamanic. A definite

What a beautiful piece, a lovely concept and what emotion there is in this
The person looks so hurt and frail and all alone, curled up in such a position...but the wolf looks so alive and free, and there is a lot of movement in the pose you chose
If only we could break free of restraints and truly be ourselves...I suppose you have heard of astral travel? This piece made reminded me of what it must be like

Thank you for the comments......I wanted to tell you, your work reminds me a little of one of my favorite artists, Susan Seddon Boulet. Have you ever heard of her? You should check out her stuff online she gets some incredible effects with oil pastels.

In the end I guess that it this is really what my style is... a little bit of everything but remaining original (atleast, I hope)

wow, nice stuff....i'd never even heard of him but it seems like his work is similar to hers, the dreamy mixture of portraits and animals, only more detailed. i always wanted to try something like that but i guess i just haven't had time with school and all, forcing me to bang projects out of thin air. have you ever done anything in oil or acrylic? i think your work might benefit from it, if you're trying to achieve that sort of effect. i think its really cool that you experiment so much, however you handle that celtic stuff is very effective and your pencil work is very strong, better than mine when i was your age. god that just made me sound so old.

XD The celtic stuff is highly influenced by my study on it at art academy. I paint there with all sorts of stuff but I don't show what I do there
