My first charcoal picture! I know I failed in a few places. XD But if there's any constructive critism out there to help me fix those failed places, please do say it.Here's the original picture (Green Eyes by SusanCoffey): [link]
Tools: Random charcoal pencils from General's Charcoal Kit (#15), Photoshop Elements (to make the scan look darker)
Time: Over a couple of days, maybe 6 hours or so.

the hair in the middle is a little wavy and it shouldnt also it should be a little darker and i would say work on those eyes a little since to me the eyes were the most captivating part of the picture same goes for the hair.
i gotta give you the props for drawing that hand as it is man really good if u can draw hands like that u can definitely do a "better" job next time, cheers and good luck.

Yeah, I noticed the wavy hair part but couldn't do anything about it orz. When you say "work on those eyes" do you mean, work on eyes in general? Or... they weren't accurate enough? Orrrr.... not dark enough?
Haha... I had the most trouble with the hands. Thanks for the compliment, I'll definitely do more realistic pics in the near future. ^^

what i meant was on this one drawing, i mean you got everything right its just that the left eye isnt drawn the same way her right one is. but like i said before overall is great and counting that its your first charcoal drawing then i gotta give you the props again,
