Description I began painting this late last night for my girlfriend, and finished it not long ago. This was painted in acrylic over matte board. I tore the board with tape and razor blades to achieve some of the texture and then dry brush painted over all of it. I exaggerated some of the highlights in areas to bring things out. The flower pattern was inspired by a Death In June album cover.

Very nice. I like it a lot. I love the texture. I've notice that some of your other peices seem to have unique textures as well, did you acheive their looks in a similar manner? I love the concept as well. Seems very deep in a simple way. Bueatiful. I really do enjoy your work.

Yeah, for a lot of them i do the same things, by layering paint over and over on matte board, in a dry brush manner. on this one i tore the matte board with tape, to give it an extra effect. thank you once again!
