I still love my pink umbrella, I drew this in memory of it >.< Gah, it's beyond repair now but I can't bear to throw it out
I actually don't know why I drew Haruhi
She looks really mature here, the dress is actually from volume 6 of the manga when she attends this fancy party. I wasn't sure what colour it was (duh, it's in black and white) but I saw a teal / blue-green kind of colour in my mind 
I'm proud of how this turned out. Coloured pencils on watercolour paper, I wanted the interesting texture. The bridge was fustrating to draw, and it's weird shaped too
there's not middle where you can stand, very...triangular actually...I wonder if there's a real bridge like this?LOL...the buildings in the background are just too pitiful... but this is no time for self criticizing, so I'll just let this slide. >.> I realize now that my biggest concern here is learning to draw clouds, people say they're easy to draw but DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! ALL LIES!!!! >.< Or maybe it's just me.

I'm sorry I couldn't be quicker to reply, but I was essentially internet and drawing-less for about six weeks D:
It's lovely the way you draw with coloured pencils, especially the colours you chose for this one. Good job with transitioning the yellow and blue without making an icky brown/green mess in the middle. Yeah. Been there, done that XD
The bridge I thought looked like a staircase from the city up into another platform. I think it's either like you said the giant curve in combination with the placement of the buildings, or my mind once more being an unco-operative idiot. Excuse me while I go beat it up.
I'm quite sorry your umbrella broke, and I do hope you find another one which suits your needs. Personally I do not use an umbrella because I have not yet conquered "biking one-handed". I should probably be quiet now, else bother someone else. >___>;;;

I use a raincoat, however, I've also seen these people who bike on the road with umbrellas. It's really crazy, and I'm not sure how they manage. If I manage to catch one, maybe I'll send a pic @__@

Anyway, this picture is just so...wonderful. The colouring is so pretty and I love the shades of yellow and orange you used, 'cause they just bring the picture to life.
And about that bridge. It could be like...trapezoid shaped, and she could be walking on the flat bit on the top or something. Or at least, that's how I thought it was when I first saw it.
