The tail is SO gorgeous omg I love it. You kind of gave it a brooding, careful personality, which works well for Umbreon while still being adorable.
Umbreon, Flareon, and Jolteon work the best out of the Eeveelutions for realism imo. The most believable.

I'm always on the lookout for eons that look just how I imagine them, and this one is magnificent. I like your choice to go with a fox-like profile instead of the more rounded face and muzzle they're traditionally given.

How did you put the white~ish fur lighting onto the fur? Was it overlay or something else? ;-;

Do you mean the light from the rings? If that's the case I think I used a luminosity layer.

Oh, that's painted on a normal layer. ^^
And I'm sorry but I couldn't possibly try to explain to you in words just how I created that tail, but I can tell you one thing! I've studied and practised quite a lot of fur.
Might actually make a tutorial on the subject of painting realistic fur at some point, since a lot of people seem to be wondering.

really nicely done. the fox type looks so realistic than
the franchise that we can minding it without excess.
