I just thought of something...if the Junk Claw attracts metal and scrap, why not Megaman? I mean he's made of metal too...maybe it only magnetizes a specific metal?

It's probably too weak to pull something as big as Megaman. Probably. That would've been interesting though, and probably would've made Junk Man much harder to defeat.

I'm curious now as to how much harder Junkman's fight would be if it could pull Megaman...as it is the way I can describe the fight as is a bit too easy for a weapon as good as the Junk Shield, but a welcome breather during the RM Rematches *glares at Slashman and Freezeman*

Well, in the Archie Comic #44, Magnet Man states that ceratanium, Mega Man's primary alloy, is para-magnetic, so megaman wouldn't be atratected as easilly as the scrap metal around the arena, which must be ferro-magnetic.

I think Shade Man on paper also is one of the sillier robot masters, but you have to read Mega Man Gigamix if you like him. He's totally fantastic in it! :-D

Putting the claw out was the right move. The electricity goes well with what I always imagined was an electromagnetic aura pulling in then repelling all that scrap.

Yeah, he actually uses electromagnetism to collect and use junk. Cloud Man's weapon apparently disrupts the flow, so that's his weakness. I feel like I might have overdone it with the electricity though. ^^ Thanks man!

Thanks! The junk are just random stuff! But yeah, there's a bit of Energy Balancer in there. Though I guess I would say they were more inspired by the Ghostbusters Proton Pack more than anything. ^^

This is excellent. Junkman always looked really odd next to other Robotmasters as if he didnt belong to me. His uniqueness makes him stand out wonderfully though. Also his stage theme is underrated as fuck. I love that music!

Btw, Junk Man has got to have my favorite shield weapon: you can move with it, and it gets destroyed from multiple enemy hits, not just one. Everything I wanted in a shield weaponΒ
(well, same kinda goes for water shield[to an extent] and jewel satellite, but I feel like the junk shield is a tad more durable)

It's been a while, but isn't Jewel Satellite the toughest shield weapon of all? I remember running whole sections of the game with just one Jewel Satellite. I forgot how it behaves when it comes to indestructible and multi hit enemies though.

You've captured Junk Man perfectly here. The 'Frankenstein's Monster' aesthetic coupled with the lightning effect of his magnetic claw and the strong lighting it produces... Both a powerful and haunting image. Junk Man's expression belies the slight hint of fear that he feels facing his adversary. No doubt Mega Man has a reputation by this point as the Robot Master Slayer, but Junk Man's determined to prove he won't be yet another one to add to the scrap heap.Β

LOL I just dabbed some flat dark gray shapes for the junk then worked up from there. It was a sloppy process, but I'm glad they turned out okay. ^^ And yeah, I could definitely sense some stress in that face of his in the pic. I wanted his expression to look more intense, but I thought that looked kind of "cute" on him so I left it that way.
