Description CALA CONEY (25)
Descendant of the commander to the infamous Third Wave.  She was not originally part of the resistance, despite what her family history suggests.  Her father runs the local library, so she is usually in close-range with knowledge.  She studies extensively on the history and topography of Angel Island as to be able to make a pilgrimage to her ancestors' home in Sandopolis.  The history of the Second and Third Waves intrigued her to no end; why would a member of the royal family restart the resistance against imperial conquest? and how could they be able to exist so indolently? Her teammates originally thought her an anarchist and sought to sabotage her chances of becoming a commander herself.  Luckily, their leader Basma Perry usually stood by her side.  She is still looking to restore honor to her family name.  As a result, she is very defensive, almost to the point of appearing neurotic.  So far she has only been able to gain the trust of her leaders, their children, and a young sloth named Fozzie.  It is rumored that she and Arthur are lovers.  Nevertheless, she insists on gaining power the old-fashioned way--by proving to her current leaders that she is worthy of the title.
Possible Theme: "Blue Collar Man" by Styx

ALYSSA ANGORA-GIBLERG (23)
The youngest of Jesse Giblerg's children.  She has five half-siblings and three fullblood siblings, all of which are active in the Pirate Gang.  Her mother died of unfortunate circumstances when she was very small, but her father later remarried Basma Perry, which gave her a younger stepbrother.  They have been inseparable since.  She often dresses in skimpy clothing to keep her cool in the warm, humid climate of Priscilla.  Due to the fact that she wears so little clothing and that she has a naturally soft voice, people have assumed for years that she was a hooker.  In reality, she is a virgin and is deeply in love with fellow member Fozzie Sloth (which he secretly requites).  She loves ancient outfits and baubles but to her chagrin she cannot wear any of the swag that her team discovers.  One of her talents is singing, and she will often sing ballads and shanties with her team in the dinner circle.  Besides that, her contributions are rather mediocre, though she will more often than not tow her own weight.
Possible Theme: "Easy" by Paula DeAnda

ARTHUR PERRY (22)
Basma Perry's only biological child and first lieutenant of the team.  Having been raised to be a leader, he often feels pressure to do well.  He is actually very timid and often hides behind his mother or stepsister when faced with conflict.  He does not actually wish to become the leader of an entire movement; like his stepsister he would be content to travel the continent in search of ancient jewels and artifacts, only he would actually prefer this fate to his current one while Alyssa is ambivalent.  His own father was a paleontologist, but he was trapped at an excavation site after the pillars supporting the ruins suddenly collapsed; he was pronounced dead when the rescue team failed to extract the body.  His teammates have describ9ed him as a coward and a brat, which makes it even harder to fight alongside them.  Let it be known that some of his colleagues are bigoted pricks and they occasionally pull pranks on him while he is asleep.  Luckily, he has still managed to make friends within the group, including Cala Coney.  He suffers panic attacks and is prone to fainting.
Possible Theme: "Brave" by Sara Bareilles

ALPHONSE "FOZZIE" THE SLOTH (21)
A leisurely fellow descended from a figure even more despicable than Behrnrad: traitor Cyrus Sloth.  As a child, he was actually friends with Cala Coney, even though their parents snarked at eachother...and used bad names/slurs.  Since childhood, he had aspired to be a famous filmmaker.  One day, when Eggman's regime is crushed, he hopes to create a historical film detailing how it all happened.  For now, he is content with just filming the battles at Priscilla's shoreline.  The crew enjoys picking on him equally as much as they do their other superiors.  They once harassed Cala to the point of tears and he told them if he ever caught them hurting his beloved commander again that he will slaughter them all over again--only now he has weapons at his disposal so he had all the more ways to make them bleed. (Dayum) Unlike Cala, he is not ashamed of his background.  In fact, he sees it as a reason to be glad that his friends fight for their freedom the right way.  If only his teammates could get him to put his camera down and contribute to the actual fight a little more.
Possible Theme: "Good To Be Me" by Uncle Kracker feat. Kid Rock

CALYPSO THE RACCOON (17)
One of the newest recruits to the team, originally a Dark Egg Legionnaire.  She had heard legends of pirates during her childhood and dreamed of one day taking over a ship of her own.  When she became part of the Downunda Dark Egg Legion, she got as close to as opportunity as she was going to get.  After days upon days of bombarding eachother with cannonballs and ship invaders, the Pirates were victorious and took the young gunner in as an unwilling recruit.  At first, she begrudged them every shot she took for them.  This resulted in a vicious circle of leader and subordinate giving eachother a hard time; even Fozzie and Arthur have yet to tame her.  After a few years she grew used to their routines and their banter, even going as far as to befriend some of the members.  Her gunning skills are close to that of Shiego Sireen and at one point they end up in a shootout, leading to the mutual discovery that the other is not dead.  She is now a part of the crew's band; she plays a mean banjo.  She is also very chummy with the chao, probably because she misses the chao aboard the Death Egg.
Possible Theme: "Stand" by Jewel

RANDY BANDICOOT (28)
Sleeper agent of the Dark Egg Legion and Naira's husband.  His job is to report the group's plans to Dr. Robotnik and to possibly turn the team against itself.  He was captured at the same time as Calypso and pretended to beg for his life like a coward in order to be let onto the team.  Actually, that sounds about right; he is a self-centered prick.  He has always been a bully to the other Pirates since he was recruited.  In fact most of those derogatory comments about the other characters were made by him.  He enjoys harassing Alyssa and sabotaging Cala's training regimen.  Ever since Fozzie snapped, though, he's had to lay off, at least in public.  That doesn't mean that he won't try to get in quick jeers or harass poor Arthur.  The hilarious thing is that he is physically weaker than Arthur.  He was once Calypso's lover, but they had a falling out for obvious reasons.  He still occasionally flirts with her to keep up appearances as a scumbag, but in truth he is totally infatuated with Naira.
Possible Theme: "Bully" by Shinedown

NAIRA "SHORTY" THE MOUSE (15)
The youngest Dark Egg Legionnaire, a sleeper agent and Randy's wife.  Like Basma, she originated as an orphan on the streets, with nobody showing her a bit of kindness.  She earned a living by selling her body in brothels and fight clubs.  SWATbots seemed to find her before any benefactor possibly could.  She is mute by choice, which especially frustrates the men on the team.  She is considered a fille fatale by some (emphasis on the "fatale" part) and a hood-rat by others.  It would seem that the Pirates--and even Randy himself--are wary of her.  She is the only woman to openly challenge Fozzie after being threatened to leave his friends alone.  She almost won that fight, too.  Almost.  She seems to have a high tolerance for pain, having not even fidgeted after one day losing part of her tail.  It is unknown if she truly cares for her husband or if she is using him for some ulterior motive.  For all we know, they may not truly be married.  It is possible that some, if not all, of the times that our above heroes have been mugged, she has been behind it.
Possible Theme: "Heaven Knows" by The Pretty Reckless

BASMA PERRY (43)
Leader of the Priscilla Port Pirates.  Believe it or not, she started as a petty thief living in the streets, an orphan.  Egg Legionnaires and citizens alike found her to be a plague.  This changed when the active leader of the Priscilla Port Pirates offered to take her under his wing.  She was taught combat techniques and given food and shelter along with the other members.  Now she is head of the Pricilla Port Pirates and holds the group to a decently high standard.  She had a single child--Arthur--with a man who later died in an excavation accident.  Fearing that she would lose her child as well, she took to sheltering him and acting on his behalf until his late teenage years.  This partially contributed to him being a coward.  She is still as feisty and energetic as she was as a youth.  Often, people will mistake her for Arthur's older sister or Jesse's daughter.  Former beaux have attempted to get her to act more feminine and docile, but luckily her husband understands her need to be on the move constantly and even spars with her sometimes.  It's a shame that they don't go easy on one another even though they are married.  Well, whatever helps you build bonds...
Possible Theme: "I Don't Need A Man" by PCD

JESSE GIBLERG (61)
Though he does not appear to be the grandfatherly type, this feathertail glider (yes that's why he's called Giblerg) has nine children (the oldest being Basma's age O_O;; ) and twenty some-odd grandkids.  He has lost two wives--one to divorce and the other to NIDS.  Yes, he is indeed infected, but he's yet to succumb.  He was originally a merchant when he met Basma at his stand--who was still married at the time--and fell in love.  After a few years of courting, she would agree to marry him if he could defeat her in battle.  She was miserably defeated, but admitted that he would make an excellent father to her son.  He was always a catch with younger women, but he believes that his family is more important than any fantastical love-life, not that he was really tempted.  It is said that Alyssa inherited her singing voice from him.  He sometimes performs with the band and either sings solo or performs duets with her.  He is working on training his older grandchildren how to be successful pirates.
Possible Theme: "Just Haven't Met You Yet" by Michael Buble

BALDRIC BEHRNRAD (time of death unknown)
Leader of the first pirates to reign over Priscilla Port, the Third Wave.  Formerly, he was a scribe for the old rulers of Sandopolis.  During his time serving the king, he came across the historical records of the family.  Through reading these records, he learned of how cruel his masters truly were and desired to rebel.  As treason was punishable by death, he had to wait until the King died to be free.  His death came way sooner than expected (i.e. the attack of the Second Wave) and he ventured to Downunda to train the remaining members in eliminating tyrants that may plague their homeland.  Unfortunately, they had lost their innocence and their drive in the war, and the natives of Downunda had little concept of what the team was really about.  They grew indolent and corrupt.  After an internal attack by one of his most trusted men, he exiled himself to Sandopolis, too ashamed to face his men again.  In this, he left behind his wife and four children, the second of which would one day spawn Cala's branch of the Behrnrad clan--the Coneys.  Eventually, he would die alone in poverty.  Most of the world would never learn his name, but the Pirates are a bit ashamed of the actions of his men--and by extension, of him.

CYRUS SLOTH (died at age 34)
The traitor responsible for the death of half of the Third Wave.  He was a local apothecary in Downunda before the Third Wave began.  Much to his chagrin, badniks had been attacking his shop, destroying many of his goods.  He decided to join in order to keep this kind of thing from happening to other people.  He was not physically strong enough to fight off the badniks, but he was able to heal those who could fight them.  Initially, he did not trust Behrnrad because of his links to the royal family.  Over time, though, he developed a great deal of respect--even love--for his master.  He did his best to keep the others in line as to not distress Behrnrad, but the corruption just kept growing worse to the point that the men were stealing from shops much like his own.  This made him snap.  He decided to poison the men as punishment for betraying their people.  Behrnrad regretfully turned him in to the authorities, who sentenced him to a hanging.  He would have died had the current king Raphael the Young not dismissed the charges.  He saw his master there at the gallows, but they dared not speak to eachother, for their faith in one another was lost.  He would commit suicide that night.
