When you do these drawings, do you make a set of colors or do you blend? This looks really cool and I'd love to know how you draw it, whether it's a step by step explanation or perhaps a speedpaint.

I do a sketch, pretty messy but showing where the stuff is supposed to be at, like nose, eye etc, then I paint very basic colors, honestly I just pick whatever I like and then after I have lights and darks slightly detailed, i paint the sketch layer red and merge it down, put some detail in and it's done
