I decided to do some practice and voila! This purple haired, green eyed girl was born. She is wearing a plain white t shirt and god nows what for pants xDDone in PTS

Your originality in the hair is very nice. But the clothes should be a little more... Personality.
The technique is good and keep going with it. But, when you draw a chin. You have to make it more pointy. Less rounded. Before you draw start drawing stick figures. Then draw a pointy chin. Do not make the chin to point though. A little soft rounded at the edge. And for the hair, try making the bangs longer. Other then that its perfect.
The vision good remind people of perhaps an angel. Your character does look that.
The impact was very good. Better then what a lot of people could do. Keep trying you'll get much better. But this is NOT bad.
As for the background, you really did put a angel vision in my eyes making it a good impact. And she looks very serious.
Your shading and brightening is very good. Keep it up! I can't wait to see more from you.
