Well I know I haven't got a chance to post any new personal work, that's because I haven't had the time..but after 2 weeks of working on this, I am finally done. I noticed a huge step up in my illustration looking back at my older work and a lot self learning from working on this especially, I can't wait to start my next one. Anyways, this is Ironman, if it wasn't obvious
I sketched and painted this over in Photoshop on my tablet using several references of Iron man to develop a similar style of armor to what is used in the comics/movies. I was working on this for roughly about 2 weeks to really polish up on my illustration.
Ironman belongs to Marvel and is no way incorporated as my original idea, this simply just fan-art. Hope you enjoy it.

No sir, I just got offered a job in my field and working out 6 days a week had me tied down, now that I got laid off due to the project being canceled. I managed to snag plenty experience out of it and resources, I am refining my abilities further. Sometimes I'll randomly disappear from deviantart because I'll just get lost with how much talent there is here and wondering if I'll ever reach that level, so usually I just focus on refining myself and make comebacks time to time.

Can relate to getting lost due to the talent of others on here. Especially with the suggestions of similar deviations at the side of each uploads page. Been busy mass-favouriting, and I haven't even had time to properly check the Galleries of already watched deviants. So many great things to see, not enough hours in the day. xD

Exactly, I can get lost looking at all the raw talent here, or I can actually do something productive about it. I am sure once I feel more content with my skill, I'll be more than a regular on here.

You're definitely on the right track, I think that your work looks to be above an amateur level by a fair bit.

I'll give it maybe 2 years until I get some level of content, but I also have to pick up my graphic design abilities as well, I have to force myself to master coding and building those lovely websites, so hopefully it wont keep me too occupied away from mastering illustration.

Good luck with it all. Probably be quite a while until I can get myself to a level in my photography that I'm more comfortable with, need to finally push myself to go to college and take the course, luckily I've recently started wanting to try again after a major downfall in motivation for some time, seem to be getting back on track now, to some degree.
I think you'll do really well, myself.
