this is me...... emo me.......
and yes i do normally wear a proper shirt.... just not in this pic. i got my hair cut a while ago too so its longer now..... its supposed to be raining outside and im sittin on a window seat...... but yes its me....

the shadows are great, the light too. i especially like how you've stylized it slightly, just enough that it doesn't have to be detail intensive while it retains likeness to reality.
those socks are cool too.
hmmm.. something offputting about the hair though, almost too perfect? like you've over generalised or something, i don't know, i suppose i shouldn't rule out that you might just have great hair.
it almost looks like you got slack with the walls, although it somehow fits in just right
oh and, as a guy, it wouldn't be too fitting if i didn't point out you have a rather nice body

Hahah! It is rather stylized. I take pride in that. The hair is suppsed to be a bit stylized too. I tend to leave it without too much detail.
I did get kinda lazy with the walls so yea...
And honestly I don't really look like that. Its a mental image. Yanno?

quite right to take pride, without stylisation, all you have to aspire to is 100% accuracy
you do lazy well, it is a necessary skill i think

Is mostly artistic liscence but I do often see myself as someone different if I look at myself from a distance. I dont look the same, I guess... Ever tried it?

not tried it at all, the closest i would have come is drawing a few caricaturised figures
i've never really thought of doing non-realist portraiture or anything like that, might give it a go some time though, looks like it could be a bit of fun

i must say that i like how the light creates the shadows of the windows on the walls...very smart.
