So, I'm guessing she has to WALK to the beach. Or drive there in an Abrams tank. Which would be a pain in the ass to park (unless she doesn't care about the welfare of other cars in the lot)...

Yes, walk, with gigantic steps. Otherwise it would have to be ride there ON an Abrams tank. And even if they managed to avoid other cars they would completely destroy the asphalt on the road and in the lot. Plus , she'd go broke paying for gas, those things get horrible MPG.
