I like this conflict! It should be 'fewer' here, not 'less.'

Ashoka DOES have a point, In killing a pregnant doe, the may have lost both the doe and the unborn fawn, and if the fawn was also a doe, then she could've reproduced as well.
"So you would expect me to put my children's lives by putting them against a healthy stag"
Or you know, you could've went for a NON-pregnant doe.

Ashoka has a point. It is much wiser to kill old / weak individuals, not a pregnant doe... They lost 2 deer by this ; the doe could be pregnant again, which is +1 deer (prey) and if the baby was a doe, it could reproduce more as Well. They just sorely killed a pregnant ( and I believe that a healthy , too ) doe which resulted in wasted prey.

Well giving a dog breasts would be kinda weird so this is what we get.

How can you pass up on a BOGO deal?

Exactly! It's like accidentally getting an extra free bag of fries with your meal, you don't question, just eat it!

A wider establishing shot would’ve been good here. I have no idea where Sanatani is in relation to the other two. To the point where, for a second, I thought Sanatani was the lighter of the two dholes but with a sudden color change. XD
Anyway, in the wild, a downed pregnant doe is too good an opportunity to pass up. So I’m sure it’s the same in this case. Unless the herd is struggling or something, I don’t imagine a few dhole could wipe them out with bad hunting morals. But I guess we’ll see.

Yeah, I figured that about halfway through the page but by then I was already so done with it. XD I'll need to work on that.
Pregnant does are yummy, nice and tender with extra sides! And very easy to make to boot!

Couldn't they target a non - pregnant Doe though? O.o Ashoka's right - if you're putting the idea that pregnant prey is easy prey in the heads of your children then there's going to be a serious balance issue.

Ah, that horribly awkward discussion/fight parents have on who it is okay to murder for dinner. It kills so many relationships.

I agree with the father here; there was five on one, so it wouldn't have been that much higher of a risk to try and take a stag down.

Well, actually four on one and two of them aren't fully grown. They both have points!

Seriously though, they probably shouldn't be arguing like that in front of the kids.
