First of an 8 page mini comic explaining the origins of Ashur, my lion character! This will also be an entry for Songdog-StrayFang 's comic contest. I don't expect to win but having a deadline helps. XD

Though with that deadline, the art in this little mini comic will not be the best. Granted neither is the art in my main comic, City of Trees , but... yeah. XD Doesn't help that I'm not too familiar with lions and don't have a 'method' down for drawing them. I got a method for dholes and deer. Not cats. XD So don't be surprised if you see different styles come through throughout these 8 pages as I explore my options. It's good practice though, 'cause after City of Trees, more than likely Ashur will be the star of my next comic!

At any rate, next page will likely come out around Thursday, give or take. Don't have a set schedule for these pages. So long as they're all out by October 31, we're good. XD
