World/Universe: (This is a work in progress) This world was inspired by the thought of Soulmate, specifically, The Red String of Fate, but it connects to your family (Non-blood related and/or blood-related).
This is a very anime-inspired world where there are several levels in their society. Demi-gods, Demi-humans, Pago-humans, and humans. Within this society, people are connected via strings on their fingers. The strings only connect to their immediate family (spouse, children, and parents) and only that person can see. They cannot see the possible future strings that their children have, only the string that connects them to their child. Just like the Red String of Fate, if one of their strings fades/snaps it's a signifier that they died.
This world is mostly (at the moment) is governed as a Constitutional Monarchy in most of its countries. The main four society levels are determined by two factors: your birth family was (Mainly for Demi-gods) and how much magic they had.

RELATIONSHIPS
Parents:
Biological:
Mother: Name is Unknown- Indigo doesn't even know anything about her besides whenever he gets a new sibling since she usually drops them off on him and disappears. But he is at least thankful that she would put in the effort to at least let him (attempt to) raise his younger siblings.
Father: Unknown in general.
Adopted/Foster:
Misuno Zeno(Father calls him papa): At first, Indigo saw him as an easy ticket to get a lot of food from but over time he grew an attachment to the man since he often went out of his way to protect him and his siblings. Indigo is still extremely grateful that Misuno had not reported him for all the crap he’s done and adopted him along with all of his siblings.
Zackery Zeno-Calberry(Father calls him dad): He was very hesitant around him. It took a bit for him to get close to the scarred man. But after the better half of a year, the two started getting closer. Indigo knows his dad is still on the fence about what to do with him and his siblings, but he is grateful that he promised to help Misuno take care of all of them.
Siblings?:
Ice (11)- Indigo is close to all of his younger siblings, but considers Ice to be the closet as the two of them often go out to steal food and other supplies quite often. When they were still homeless, Ice was the main talker between them when it came to problems. After being adopted, Ice turned from being a straight-up dick to a sassy little shit with a chill attitude but still does treat their fathers with respect.
Pandora (10)- He tries his best to keep her spirits up. Especially since she could see how crappy their situation was. When Indigo began to show signs of sickness, she would often go straight into a panic. Though he constantly tries to comfort her and reassure her that he will be okay, but they both know that he’s probably in trouble. After Misuno and Zachary adopted them, Pandora became calmer and carefree even though she still retained her worrywart attitude whenever he so much as coughed.
Haika (9)- He tried his best to keep from harm after he badly injured his eye. Haika tried to reassure Indigo that it wasn’t his fault. Indigo doesn’t believe it but does his best to make sure that he and the rest of the younger ones don’t have to fight at all. After they were adopted, he was thankful that they were able to get better treatment for Haika’s eye. Indigo had to help him the most with adjusting to their new lives especially since Haiki had to see the doctor a lot more than his siblings.
Loki (8)- Indigo finds Loki’s cheerful endearing especially when everyone else's day is terrible. He tends to let the wild boy entertain Asher and Kaiya when he’s too exhausted to keep an eye on them. He’s the main one who would listen to Loki’s chaotic ideas, even though he would still say no to them. Thankfully once they were adopted his chaotic ideas stopped after several lectures and scoldings from their dads. Now he just has off the wall ideas whenever he’s bored and still rants to him about them.
Asher (7)- Indigo does his best to try and teach Asher to calm down along with how to talk. Though with his condition, he has to rely on Ice and Pandora. Thankfully the little duffus doesn't catch on too much and it helped everyone relax during the time that they were homeless. After being adopted Asher was finally able to learn more words and Indigo is very happy with his development and helps him out a bit more.
Kaiya (6)- Indigo does his absolute best to try and protect her from the terrors of life. He makes sure that she eats before him and gets medicine before the others. Even when he's trying to be fair he knows that she needs more care than the others. Indigo tries to be a dad for her. Though he won't say it out loud, he's grateful that their adopted parents take care of her a lot better than he could.
Other Relatives:
Grandma Ikuo- (Misuno’s mother) He adores his grandmother and her overprotective antics. He makes sure to be on his best behavior for her sake even though she is not that old. Indigo often asks his dads if he can take his siblings to go visit her. Mainly just to talk but often he would help just help her around the house with his siblings while Kaiya and Asher listen to her stories.
Uncle Miko-(Misuno’s older brother) He thinks Miko is nice but can’t help but notice how awkward he is around everyone. Even around his brother, when he asked his dad about it Misuno promised to tell him when he was older. Indigo likes hanging around his awkward uncle. He does his best to get his uncle to be comfortable around him and they seem to be making very slow progress.
Grandma Tori- (Zackery’s mother) He does cherish her and her quiet nature. Especially since he's the only one allowed to see her. He’s not too sure about the details but does know he wants her to get better. Indigo tries to make her smile whenever he goes to visit her.
Grandpa Aiden- (Zackery’s Father) The amount of hatred that he holds for his grandfather, most people would assume that Zackery told him about how he burned his dear dad. But that would only be half of the truth. Indigo had developed a deep hatred for him almost immediately due to how his grandfather tried to degrade him and his siblings. Indigo does everything in his power to make sure that he and his siblings never see that man.
Uncle Kenny- (Zackery’s Big Brother) Indigo likes hanging around him. They haven’t spent too much time together, but Zackery does let him talk on the phone with him from time to time.
Aunt Deliah- (Zackery’s Big Sister / Sixth Grade teacher) Indigo at first was simply respectful since they met on his and Ice’s first day. He does regret how he and Ice acted, mostly Ice who was very rude. It wasn’t until Zackery had invited his siblings over to meet them and to his surprise, she didn’t bring up their behavior in class. In fact, she offered to help Indigo get his voice back and to be their (his other siblings included) tutor. Indigo tried to apologize, but she had simply hugged him and started helping him through his throat recovery whenever his dads couldn’t go.
Friends: None besides his Best friend Trevor
Best friend:
Trevor- Indigo looks to Trevor for help on several different occasions. He doesn’t want to admit it and probably never will, but he does see Trevor as an older brother. Sometimes the two even join up to cause trouble when they feel like the other orphans or anybody, in general, is against them.
Significant Other/Crush: None at the moment, he’s only 12 years old.
Enemies/Rivals:
Demi-Devil’s association- Indigo despises the orphanage. He sees it as a place that was nothing but an isolated, hell-house. Even with the few nice people within the place, Indigo would rather stay isolated in his room with his siblings.
His mother- Despite him being thankful that his mother let him take care of his siblings, he still feels a heavy amount of anguish that she would only visit him “to drop off her mistakes” as she and many others would put it.
LIFE
Strengths: Very patient (with his family), stealth, pick-pocketing, and reading the air
Weaknesses: Aggressive with others outside of his family, acts without thinking and backstabs a lot of people
Hobbies: finger painting and Parkour
Habits:
Before being adopted
Whenever he feels overwhelmed he tends to scratch his skin until it bleeds and burns.
Whenever he felt annoyed or livid he would purposely start talking until he was coughing up blood and wouldn’t stop unless the problem was going or passed out from the pain. (happens very rarely)
Indigo also tends to bite his fingernails and finger themselves when he feels depressed (changes below)
After being adopted
While Indigo has dropped his habit of tearing into his arms until they bleed thanks to his fathers’ constant interventions, he had a much harder time biting his fingers. It wasn’t until his papa had introduced him to painting, specifically finger painting. It took quite a while but eventually, he stopped trying to destroy his fingers whenever he felt in the dumps.
When he becomes irritated or overwhelmed, he turns to helping his grandmothers out for hours on end. Whether it be redesigning, talking, or just relaxing.
Area of Residence/Environment:
Demi-Devil’s association: (former) The adoption center that Indigo and most of his siblings grew up in. They ran away when the other children started ‘disappearing’.
Misuno’s Apartment: A tight fit apartment with four rooms. It’s comforting with a constant welcoming feeling.
Home Description: A simple apartment with four rooms, a kitchen, a living room, and a dining room. One of the four rooms is dedicated to arts and crafts due to Misuno’s occupation. The small apartment is quite welcoming and has an array of colors switching from room to room.
Health: Indigo is recovering from a bad throat infection. The pain became so much that he had to become mute and simply waved it off as a bad illness. It became so bad in fact that he needed surgery to save his life. Besides that injury, he had several cuts and open wounds that were nearly infected, but thanks to Asher and his dads getting him to the hospital, he has been slowly getting better.
