I totally agree with ferdicamacho's comment, I'm usually bored with watercolor landscapes, but this is really something special. I think one of the things that makes this one stand out is the depth you've given it with the colors blending from the strong goldenrod and sunflower shades in the foreground to the smokey blues on the horizon. Another really nice thing you've done is given the foreground more contrast than the rest by adding that deep dark green. Also, you have a very nice color echo in the sky that matches the bright foreground and kind of ties the whole picture back together. And can I say I adore your trees? I love trees so much and don't ever manage to draw/paint them to my own satisfaction, so when I see a nice tree, I take notice. My favorites are the branchy ones, but the tall and narrow trees you've put in here are very pretty, too, of course. On a technical level, I have to point out how much I also love the water spot crop rows in the purple hillside. Overall, this is a place I'd love to sit and watch the day go by!

thank you very much for your long and positive comment. this scetch was done near St. Giminiano in the tuskany.
the surroundings is most typical for the tuscanny fascinating landscape. it was holiday from my study, and a
we travelled around as a backpacker, sleeping in cheap pensions. (for us, as students it was still quite expensive, by the way)
we were sitting somewhere and enjoyed the days, trying to catch the typical tuscany-vibes with our brushes.
this one, i did it later on in the pension, trying to remember the impression of the days.
so it isn`t a real landscape, it is the aproach to a sympolic typical "tuscany scetch".
thank you for viewing and your comment.
