Description My Hands are Always Cold, But My Heart is Warm

This is my secret Santa gift for !

She wanted Albert, or that freaky guy from Star Wars, that I dunno... XD Anyway, it's obvious who I picked. :3

I can see Albert thinking of Hilda on a snowy night, I'm sure he remembers it fondly, without brooding all the time. So, I chose to show this. I admire his spirit for continuing wanting to live, to hope, and to help, but he deserves time to reflect and me content too.

This also gave me an excuse to play with watercolors, something I want to do from time to time. It felt right for this work. <3

This is one of my favorites, the watecolors add such a nice soft touch to the atmosphere.

_ You are AMAZING with water color! The background is absolutely stunning and I love the snow so much! There's a feeling about this picture of a old photograph, maybe taken by Hilda on a cold night in Germany. The look in his eyes suggests he's thinking of or looking at someone he dearly loves. It also seems like he's reaching into his pocket to retrieve a photo,, perhaps a precious memory.

Regardless, the warm emotions that radiate from this picture override the cold blue of winter, this is a beautiful beautiful piece.
