Oli had long admired the beautiful mustang mare, Sidekick. Ever since he had first spotted her on a meadow during a visit at RPS he had thought of her as just extraordinary beautiful.
And she also sounded like a lot of fun to ride, as he was told she was headstrong and independant, which both were personality traits Oli always liked very much in horses. Not without a reason his favourite horse at home was Tony.

So, when he heard about the Horse Exchange Show RPS was hosting, he imidiatly called to sign up for Sidekick and lucky enough, he was just on time to catch the spot for the 3rd and last round.

He was very excited when travelling to RPS to finally actually get to ride the beautiful mare. And even though he only had about half an hour before his turn to actually get to know Sidekick under the saddle, he also kept watching the first two rounds closely to see how the other two riders were handling her.

When it finally was his turn, Oli didn't find himself disappointed at all. Sidekick was just like he had imagened her to be. Swift, self-confident and willing to work with the human riding her, if she was left the portion of indepandant thinking she demanded. It was great!
No matter how they would score at the show, Oli definitely had to ask Hugh back at IVS to request a breeding with Sidekick, if she was available.

That idea seriously is brilliant, IVS really gotta ask for permission to do something similar sometime, too.
And drawing Sidekick is just as much fun as looking at pics of her.
