it's crazy, cuz it makes me SO happy that you love the Tolkien stories!! 
so yeah-- Martin just nailed Bilbo and it was the weirdest thing seeing and actor make a character come to life for me. I never thought I'd experience it, but he was just darn perfect!

Wow, that's awesome! I'm only starting reading Tolkien now, on audiobooks by Rob Inglis. But how special that an actor can successfully capture a character whose been in existence mostly in books for so long. And for you to feel how perfect it was just nails it. I thought he was pretty awesome, too, and according to Peter Jackson, Martin was born to play Bilbo. I guess he was right!

Jackson just knows how to sell to the book-readers in his audience, because he was so in love with the books himself and knows it's important, but he ballances it well with adapting a book to a film (since they both CAN'T be 100% the same)

Indeed. That's the only way a book can be transformed into film, if the makers love the original written story. So much of the whole crew were already in love with Tolkien, so no wonder they did their very best and came up with something epic.

I won it on a radioshow by impersenating Gollum. Had to beat 4 other people but pulled it off. Anyway keep sketching things like this you should consider making it your job, you could become famous.

Just got more crazy, a friend of mine, who is a big lotr fan as well, may have won a trip to New-Zealand for 2 persons for 10 days. He's gonna take me and we will visit some film locations. Isn't certain yet but if it is that would be so awesome.
And yea I did see that video it was so awesome and you could totally be an illustrator.
