So which is the best one then?

If you count ODST, then it's Mombasa streets for me, there's something special about the athmosphere on that one, plus you sneaking around abandoned city streets at night, listening to awesome music while slaying Brutes.

Well, playing Halo was an experience for me that I never felt since Half Life, maybe because I enjoy futurist shoters, the environment, classical orchesrtal music, a story bigger than live...
Halo combat evolved is for me a living legend, but honestly I playing Halo3 more because of graphics level, but then I remember the scene in Halo2 in High Charity listening "Blow me away" and right now I don´t know what to thing...
Perhaps Halo Reach will be the answer.

I agree, Half Life was basically my first 'real' computer game, I bought it the day it was released and played it for a long time after.

But Halo was something else, when I played CE I was totally awed seeing purple spaceships with pink interiors! I had never seen that before.

But overall, the Halo universe, the characters and the aesthetics are fantastic.
