That is a fierce expression. Made all the more fierce by the addition of a lot of blues and blacks. The colors in your pictures fight for attention like jealous siblings. Good that some of the picture at the top breaks away from the lens of the picture plane, gives the viewers' imagination something to do. Wish the same had been done at the bottom. Looks like she is rising up out of something, possibly flames. Extending the patterns down there could have reinforced this. If put on the right bottom corner this could counterbalance the fullness of the top left.
