Description OMG, Inki draws. She doesn't just photo little bunnies and puppies.
This is terribly hasty done, 3 nights with each at about 40 minute sessions. And it's a photo of the pic, my scanner isn't hooked up. So I just cleared up and added some light to the piece.
I WILL UPDATE WITH A SCAN WHEN I CAN.
It's the interior of the St. Ursanne Monestary with added figures.
(Okay, I might have gotten the hieght scale incorrect or something... I have no idea. Aaand, I don't know if the sunrise sin that direction or not! I just though the picture looked like a beautiful morning sunrise....)
And at the suggestion of I actually sort of re-did my characters and setting from this previous piece- [link]
Special thanks to Mon Friar [link] who sent me a lovely reference picture.

Prismal color watercolor pencils, (c) St. Ursanne, I suppose.

Oooo Pretty!

I like the texture of the floor and the perspective of the ceiling. I've been practicing a lot of that in design drawing and it's very hard to get it right! - looks near perfect to me!

I don't believe how much everyone has commented on the floor, I worked on that the least!
I was so worried about the rest of the architect, I just textures and floated on the light/polished look.
But it goes to show how much we all learn even when we aren't trying! Thanks for the comment!

I like the marbling work done on the floor. The vaults look solid also. Nice job.

Hey thanks! I really was flustered with the floor... the essence lof getting it rough but worn and walked on. As we learn with every piece we make, you make think it's a loss or a waste, but obvisouly you learn something new every single time!

Unless you're able to view a selection of marbled slabs up front, and then to incorporate some time-worn look, well, I wouldn't begin to know how you could recreate a similar effect.

Hey, thanks! I had so little time for this one, but any practice in new architecture is never lost time!

Well, thanks! I was rather purturbed with my tile job.... the lighting on a surface worn and still pitted....
but I feel better now that you said that!

Well, thanks! I wanted the light to be warming and sort of feeling like a good start.

Nice work Inki, I could recognise it from the thumbnail (looking through heavy eyelids and the blurred vision of no sleep )

Well, thank you! It's one of the more comforting compliments, someone who might have actually been there.

Ooh, nice! I like the columns and the ceiling, and the way you handled the light. And the cat!

I am glad you saw the kitty! I was afraid people wouldn't know what that ugly blob was. And I hope to scan this in to show the light better, but it was a challenge, the 2 bright windows. But I'm pretty happy with it.
