Adaptation of line work for another project, of which I cannot speak.Amusingly enough, it is completely unrelated to Street Fighter... nonetheless, it didn't take a lot of tweaking to change that.
The color tint is just there 'cause my gallery felt kinda monochromatic. I think like the greyscale version a bit more, though... hard to say. You can decide for yourself if you like, by checking out the greyscale version over at Penciljack: [link]
Illustrated entirely in Photoshop, total time approximately 2.5 hours start-finish.

This is about as colored as this image ever got. The original drawing that I made for a Studio Fates project, which this drawing is based upon, is in full color... but it's also studio property, and under wraps.

I really like this, I guess you got good from a load of practice. How do you know where to put the shading on clothes? That is the one thing I cant get right :S

I'm still learning it myself, but it's mostly about thinking of the shape in terms of volume, and then thinking about how light falls on the shape and how parts are hidden in shadow. It's a bit of a tricky thing to wrap the brain around, but with enough time and study and practice you can get it.
The most common light source is top-down, which is the way you would see shadows cast in a room or outdoors in the middle of the day. It's a very generic light source, though, and you'll get more interesting results when you vary it up some.

Nah, the colouration makes it look far more sinister, and there's gradient to this one, as well.

I've always imagined Akuma to have a more dark mean expression on his face but they way you depicted him her makes him appear a lot more scarier. Like he's achieved his ultimate goal for power and savoring ever moment of it. Makes one wonder what he's capable of now. Very cool.

Not Somebody I'd like to meet in a dark alley. (Not that I like meeting people in dark alleys) Cool pic man. I like how the light source is placed underneath. Really adds to the sinister look and gives off the idea of energy radiating from him without actually showing it. In my head, if this were an animation, he would do this pose and then swing his arms together in the "classic" Shodoken Fireball stance. All while smiling sinisterly mind you. Then he'd vaporize Ryu. LOL.
