Description
Done for speed modeling contest theme "light/lamp"a fancy light
build from scratch in 3dsmax
creation time: less then 2 hours.
competition was hard this time, but surprisingly I won.

The light I think is the most interesting part of it. Really stands out and is very cool. The light looks like lightening. XD Was the light done in 3ds?

I'm not sure how to critique this because I've had no experience with 3D modelling, but I can certainly tell you what I think
When i first looked at this, it looked like very well done long-exposure photography. The spiral effect you have got there really works, and I love how it is far more compressed at the bottom. Really gives a sense of form & weight.
It looks very real too! It's pretty fantastic for digital art.
