I asked my brother to take this photograph of my Sesshomaru cosplay. It's still not completely finished yet, but it's almost there! (I still need to get proper footwear and a sword that resembles Tenseiga. I'm going to try to make a bigger mokomoko as well.)My sister did the makeup for me. ^^

Don't worry,
We usually buy a bad cosplay and then fi it up ourselves. Like we took kairi apart and put her all back together XD Like the zippers, strabs, her belt and shoes were all made by us. I'm still learning to sew! Sora's shoes were the firs time I ever made a shoe slip. But we do make the props from scratch! The keyblades were the first thing we've made! We went through a lot of saws and tools lol. *Looks at empty wallet.sniff*

Awww! That's really neat though! I want to try to build some of my props on my own. I just hope that cardboard will hold up well enough. (I think wood would be too heavy for what I have in mind.)

It could be, it also depends on the type of wood. You can always use foam and then use paper mache. Thats what we did for Axels weapon.

Did you use expanding foam? Do you think that Home Depot carries that? I've been trying to find a cosplayer that uses expanding foam for their props just to get an idea of how easy it is to work with.
