I play a lot of tabletop RPG's, and have for some time. This drawing is of a group of heroes from a game that I ran back in the 1980's. I drew it for a good friend of mine, who is the guy who played the character in the center; Ultraman. The heroes are, from left to right, Ares, Goldenstar, Nighthawk, Ultraman, Starfist, Lensman, and Black Jaguar. I really enjoyed doing this piece, especially since all but one of the characters were PC's (player characters) of my best friends from the era. (One of them is an NPC). The costumes I had designed for them "back in the day" were pretty good, I thought. But it was great to get a chance to go back and re-design them with a more modern, detailed eye.
