HeLlO. wElCoMe tO ThE DaRk cArNiVaL MoThErFuCkEr....A Picture of everyone's favorite psychopath, GAMZEE. If you look close enough, you might catch a detail or two. My first ALL computer picture..... though something feels wrong about this picture..... Bad use of space? Comments and critic are gladly welcome

First, I really like the atmosphere that the background gives the picture. Great use of color. You have to be careful about center of gravity though, this picture seems to intend to have him just standing, but in his current posture he would quickly fall over. Also your light source is a little in consistent, his shoulder makes it look like the light source is coming from the side but the shadow makes it seem more from the front. His expression is very good at conveying the "madness" emotion. Overall a decent piece.
Now coming from the Homestuck perspective, the only critique I have is his scars should be coming down from right hand side of his head, but it's not that big of a deal I forget things like that a lot too.

I suck at shading. However I do intend to get better. I'll put a bit more emphasis on shading and perspective to help with that. And as for center of gravity, I'll have to make sure next time that my characters stand balanced on their feet.
I'm glad that I was able to use color well and That madness was well convayed in the picture.
