Who could ever forget the most wild mutt of them all, Wildmutt!ΒOne thing I was kinda disappointed about with the 2016 reboot was the subtraction of Wildmutt from the official roster. Wildmutt wasn't really my fave in the first place, but neither was Cannonbolt. Don't get me wrong, they both have their own uses (arguably Cannonbolt is MORE useful compared to Wildmutt, so I can sorta understand why he replaced him on the roster). But call it nostalgia, I just like to have Wildmutt around.Β
His design is still somewhat similar, although I thought the addition of a nose and scruffier hair made him more Wild and more of a Mutt. This time, he's equipped with retractable claws able to slice through almost anything and saliva that he can make acidic. Making it easier to chomp into something (or someone).

It would make sense for this version of Wildmutt to have a nose, so the people or viewers out there to see that Wildmutt HAS a nose that he can sniff off the traces of his enemies or find missing objects

I've already explained to you that the designs are just what I would purposely go for if I made the show myself. Of course some of it won't make sense, some people have different ideas of to how the design should look.

What a good design! I really like how you added a real nose, I found it strange that those "gills" are his nose and ears at the same time, I really like the colors of the necklace, I like how it looks black with green instead of the typical green with White, although the saliva gives that touch more wild, that of acid I see something more appropriate for Spitter
I also hated that they excluded Wildmutt from the reboot, he was my favorite of the original 10 after Upgrade, in addition, there are three things that makes Wildmutt totally remarkable of all Ben aliens in general:
1-He is the only alien without eyes
2-He is the only feral/beast alien
3-He is the only alien that cant speak

As cool as this is, the nose just kinda ruins it for me. One of the features I liked about Wildmutt in the first place was that his featureless face (besides that massive underbite of his) made him more alien-looking; the nose kinda takes that away, at least in my opinion. I guess it would make more sense for his incredible sense of smell when he's sniffing the ground (if I recall, the gill-like slits on his neck function as both a nose and ears).

Wildmutt's main ability is his sense of smell. As he has no eyes, his "vision" is made up of a dull 3D mapping of where his senses originate, similar to a thermograph. Combined with his enhanced hearing, his senses take the form of a radar or sonar, allowing him to still perceive his environment more clearly. His enhanced speed and reaction time allows him to dodge, evade, and counterattack effortlessly with the help of his senses.

Thanks! But truth be told, I didn't feel the nose at first. But as I started to think about it more, I personally felt it made him more dog-like, making him live up more to his name, ya know?
