Description From my project in progress titled '1944: A World at War'.

An M4A1 Sherman crosses an earthen mound during an advance through Normandy. 10th June 1944.

A project inspired by the work of the great David Levinthal. In this body of work I will be aiming to recreate little scenes from 1944 using 1:72 scale figurines.
I have tried to make the images look old, from the period, but with a 16:9 widescreen format to give a 'modern touch' to the work. I also feel this format gives the images a little dynamism.

You can vote for this Levinthal inspired masterpiece (yes I'm bigging my self up - I love this piece!) in the 2010 DCM Photographer of the Year competition. Just follow the link to the image and click 'Vote to like' (you have to be registered to vote, but it's quick, free and you won't get spammed. Plus, you'd be doing me a great favour by helping my images get noticed by the judges).

Thank you.
Your husband does gaming or modelling or miniature photography? Or something else?

He does, but he hasn't put a whole lot of his stuff up yet. His real dream is to be the photographer who does the pictures of action figures on the back of boxes, but for now he takes pictures of his figures for fun.

On DeviantArt, he's demon-vice-commander [link]

I'll go take a look. Tell him just to send some images of to Airfix, Revell etc and see what they say. Tell him to include a copyright notice, but if they want images he is available for commissions. They can only say no.
