I have this way of them all meeting and like--
The four of them are gathered for a meeting with the diamonds to discuss what they need to do (The Cubic Zirconia were designed to help the diamonds carry on work, as they can't be everywhere at all times) and so like
either he's sent to check on Dark Rose as task, or sent somewhere and finds her ((idk if she's apart of court or kinda wonders along humankind?))

I can see Dark Rose like totally being misplaced with guard and amethyst in training while she's more "entertainment" then solider, so maybe as task bc not much is going on he has to get her a few other soldiers to bring back?? :0
