I do like the whole corset-like top. I think its still practical enough for shipboard ops while accentuating the female form in a modest but sexy way.

if anyone wants to know; this character is the navigator/helmswoman of the u.s.s. guardian. a smaller Ranger class variant for local transport, peacekeeping, and patrol inside of federation space.

BACKGROUND: Beyond the far edge of federation space there was a "rebel world". A colony that refused the offer of being a part of the federation. Why? Because they pursued what the Federation deems as illegal Bio-tech and medical treatments.

However, they faced the threat of an alien invasion, the sarginsha. Due to their status the Federation would not come to their defense. So, they made their own. they resurrected the forbidden genetic AUGMENT technology with that of 23rd century science and technology. They thought they could temper augment madness, they thought they could make a controllable super soldier.
They failed.

The sarginsha were repelled by the augments, but the surviving augments turned on their masters...

The woman in this illustration was spirited away by the scientist who created her, because she showed none of the capacities for violence the colony demanded of the augment program. This woman is an AUGMENT, but does not suffer from augment psychosis. As an augment, she has an I.Q. of 500, superior strength, agility, and endurance, plus, She is hot!

Top half of that uniform reminds me of a concept I have for a uniform in my series. She's a total cutey

Great update to the uniform. She's the right combo of 'cute' and 'looks like she knows what she's doing'.

...bares a slight resemblance to Sam from Totally Spies ...or maybe April O'Neal from Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles  ...Either way, she's cute.

Come to think of it ...my attempt at Disney's Kim Possible came out looking a little like this too. opai-exedra.deviantart.com/art…  opai-exedra.deviantart.com/art…  opai-exedra.deviantart.com/art… But I guess that's part of the point to stylized characters, they could be anyone including someone in the audience.

Well, she can show me the way home any time!

Also, is the starship pictured a member of or based on the Akira class?

Yep that is an Akira behind her...but my customer was wanting the equivilant of a 24th century Archer class. screenshots.filesnetwork.com/8…

Likely because it keeps the crew to a minimum

Their choice; part of my love for the Akira is that it makes me think of the P-38 and of Rutan designs rather than "just" Star Trek.

P-38  was a small torpedo boat if memory serves....Rutan....as is Doctor Who?

paws4thot In reply to Inspector97 [2014-10-24 13:41:10 +0000 UTC]

P-38 Lightning, aka fork-tailed devil.

Rutan, as in Burt Rutan, as in Scaled Composites, Global Flyer and Spaceship1 + White Knight1 and SS2 + WK2.

She bears a striking resemblance to a certain Disney princess.

So she's probably the head of Astrometrics?

Hmmmm...the likeness is purely accidental. I believe she is an enhanced being like Dr. Bashir was

Someone needs to tell the parents in Trek World that if they want their illegal health treatments to STAY secret, they need to stop making their kids so pretty.
