So far I'm enjoying Rebels.....and hopefully with the return to STAR WARS in 2015 I will feel the Force like I did in the past.....there's a New New Hope nowRelated content

Unfortunately, all the infighting, flame wars, insults thrown my way for being a prequel fan, and finally the cancelling of TCW, and closing down of Lucasarts essentially killed any love I had for this series.
To me, none of it is worth the trouble. I still enjoy this though.

I'm the opposite I'm afraid. The prequels and TCW damaged what I loved about eps 4,5 and 6

That's what I'm talking about. The endless divide. The constant arguing. The Pain.
Star Wars is supposed to be fun. But the fun's gone for me. I don't hate the OT, but I do hate the people who despise the "bad" trilogy so much that they bully others, and just be horrible who don't agree that the OT is just the greatest thing ever and the prequels are a sin and anybody associated with them or likes them needs to be punished.
I've wrung my hands of the whole mess. In the end, no one wins, and no one has any fun, and that's what's really sad.

Well for some it is very personal. For me it is....It was such a huge impact on me and my friends.
We have spent hours debating what went wrong, what works what doesn't now. But arguing with people unless they want to discuss the virtues and sacra-ledge of the STAR WARS universe, is kinda pointless.
Like you, I just won't be lead into a shouting match over the prequels.

Me too, many left a negative impression on me. I got death threats for saying Jake Lloyd didn't deserve to be bullied for his role in Episode I. I was 14.
So yeah, it's personal for me too. I had to delete my Twitter and start a new account it got so bad.
I'd love to look those people in the eye and asks if their proud of their actions.
