Description Some training for my Shedu, Fly. Will, his trainer, spoiled Fly as a baby so he has a very spoiled giant cat on his hands. There will be more cute bonding pictures, though. I just have had this one lined for a while now and figured I should finish it. ha ha. Crazy boys. Hopefully they don't run into a tree or anything while they aren't looking where they are going. ^_^'

Aww, gorgeous!
Finally I get to see Fly's colours on his body, and he's just stunning - I love those white bits on his hindpaws, and the lighter gradient on his body. <3

Also hmm, you seem to draw your Shedus a loooot leaner and more angular than most of the other ones I see - I always noticed that many of the designs looked a lot heavier and stockier than regular cheetahs, so it's unusual to see this sort of depiction - I like it though, it suits the character and the pose.
The colouring is gorgeous btw, love the soft, summery lighting and warm tones, not to mention the expressions of both characters. <3

Thank you! :3 I love my baby.Β

Well there's more than one type of shedu, too. Ha ha. There are heavy built ones that remind me of a giant cheetah leopard cross, and there are lighter built ones. There's also other types but those two are the most common. Fly is built more like a normal cheetah, but when I drew this one I was thinking he was more gangly than usual since ge'd be young in training. And I draw everything angular, too. LOL.

You're welcome, and you should - those markings are actually my favourite Shedu coat design I've ever seen yet!

Ah yes, I've read that too... but even the "lighter" ones still look heavier than normal cheetahs to me... but maybe it's just my eyes. (I figured it kinda made sense though since they might need to be a bit sturdier to carry a rider)

And ha, he's an awkward teenager here then? Awesome!
Looking forward to seeing more of him, most definitely. <3

Ah, I never really noticed that... I thought you had your own WONDERFUL style but I didn't see it as overly angular. Ha, maybe I just don't notice things as being angular when I'm used to my Krovens.

=O Fly's markings?

Yeah they look a little heavier. Not too much, though. But I think all the individuals are a little different too. Just like everything else. Ha ha.

I think Fly will probably be a little on the thinner side just out of his unique build, but I'm gonna try to keep his training images a little on the scrawny side because I love the lanky teen phase. x3

Aww. Thank you! I have been told by a lot of people that I draw with very sharp angles, which I kinda see. I like angles. But it's usually angles within a realistic flair. ha ha. Yeeeaah. xD Your Krovens are angular too. Probably why you didn't notice. Yay for angular things!

Oh yes, he's soooo beautiful!

Just a bit, but it's part of the species design, and they look cool either way.

Ah yes, he's a bit closer to the standard cheetah than most I've seen, and yes, lanky teen phase is AWESOME! (ha, I should draw Vroen as a teen sometime, although he's gawky enough already that I don't know how much more awkward he can look )

You're very welcome indeed! And really, I hadn't noticed that before - you have your own style of drawing paws and faces, but I didn't notice the exaggerated angles - I just thought EVERYTHING YOU DRAW LOOKS PRETTY. :'D I do like angular things. <3

And they are indeed... ha, just wait until I finish that sketch of Otto... KΓ₯rstatt practically redefine "angular".
Haven't been able to work on the ref for a while, for which I'm terribly sorry - drowning in exam revision and dissertations!
But I did some more today... right now I'm just about to finish off the sketches for A DOZEN PAWS. :'D (two of whichΒ are the skeletal structure... the rest are just assorted views)

That is so flattering. :3 I know a lot of people seem to not like the roaning on the dark coats but I really like it so that's all that matters!

lmao! You should. I think it would be awesome, and hilarious. xD

Haha. I had never really noticed it either. I never realized that I've always likes angles, but I guess it makes sense. ^_^'

I look forward to seeing them! But no worries, of course. All the schoolwork is more important. :3 Yay paws! I love paws

Really? Because Fly is without a doubt my favourite Shedu design I've ever seen. I'm actually not mega in-love with the species despite my love of cheetahs (yeah, don't get me wrong, they're AWESOME and very well designed, but I just wouldn't go crazy about following designs of them and stuff, that's all I mean - I really like them, I'm just not obsessed with them - so anyone who owns or loves Shedus PLEASE don't be offended, I still think they're wonderful!), whereas Fly... he's just so pretty that I could find myself stalking art of HIM, and getting excited about seeing him in your gallery.

Ha, I'm tempted, I must admit...

I suppose so, it's maybe just one of those submliminal things. :'D

And thankyouuuu! Ha, if you'd like... I could submit just the b/w sketches of the pawwwwwwwwws to my scraps if you wanna ogle at Kroven feets of two different varieties.
And thankyou, glad you understand - second year medical degrees like to bash us to death with exam revision and deadlines.
