Description This is a drawing i did playing with nature versus society.
it was very automatic and just sort of, created itself.

I really like the surreal quality to it.

Ooh, very cool. Nature v. Society is one of my favorite concepts. . . You did really well in depicting that clash!

geeee!
i love the tree, beautiful tree, i love those kinds of trees, i dont know what they are but they're wonderful, yay.
second on the agenda- holy crap, cool idea! when i first saw this i was like...woot! elf village! but apparently my first guess is a wrong one...this ones even better
my advice would be...plan a little more, alot of this picture looks unfinished, there are parts that dont make alot of sense that you could have covered up in leaves (like at the bases of buildings) i also think employing a ruler in this case would have made some interesting contrast between organic/manmade, right now alot of the buildings look as if they're being grown themselves...unless thats what you wanted...
amazing shading, especially on the smoke stacks, and i love the guy standing in the tree

I fully agree with you about the base, it should be covered up not quite nessisary information.
and no, wasn't quite going for organic buildings, in this case a ruler might, or might not have been good, i think if i used a ruller i would tighten up to much, but yes the lines should be more alligned however i was just kind of going freehand to begin with. and the image just grew. so they should be straight, however a ruler perhaps not. but thanks for the advice with the leaves your absolutely right on that one.

cheers

ahh this is brilliant!!! i love it!!! you've got a really good eye/feel for composition... like the wires going off into the distance... i get the feeling that although we humans feel we have towered over nature in our superiority... it's really the nature that's keeping us afloat... and on the right it looks like it's ready to start choking the life out of us God knows we deserve it

Brilliant,
I enjoy it when people help give a personal context to my art,

i mean i had my own opinions, but i love hearing other peoples thoughts

lol oops... well... art is subjective and i love that. what were your thoughts? there's more than 2 sides to every coin and i would like to learn them ^.^

The concept is very good. Nice details and fine perspective. I really like the structure of the composition.
