(Sorry I've been a ghost around here...I'll get around to answering messages eventually..)
Heres a pic of a papercraft totoro I made from scratch (though the template I used isn't mine). When I say I made it from scratch, I really mean: instead of printing out a template like everyone normally does, I drew the template from a pic of it online on a piece of paper (measured perfectly I might add or this would look horrible), then colored everything in. The only thing that is my original design is the small umbrella that I accidentally made too small. This was a gift to my wife for her birthday MONTHS ago, before I knew she was cheating. I'm annoyed I gave it to her..but it was hers so oh well. Whatever. He's the hardest papercraft I ever worked on due to the fact I drew everything out. That selfish women has no idea how long this took me...Over 9 hours sitting in a room, staring at the picture to make sure it was perfect, coloring and gluing and such...I'm sure this poor creature is probably in the garbage somewhere because I HIGHLY doubt she actually kept it...poor totoro. At least I took a picture... Enjoy.
