Description
Another dream creature. From what I saw, this is something like a chameleon/gecko mix (he had a sticky extendable tongue and gecko’s feet). And don’t be confused by his strange mouth. You can see that both of his jaws have very long and flexible ends similar to whiskers or insect’s antennas. Weird, huh? So, this lizard was waving these ends in the air and that was really effective for attracting some butterflies. I guess this world had some very interesting flowers.
In a dream, I saw this lizard in a pet shop terrarium, but I also ‘knew’ how they live in the wild, so I didn’t draw a terrarium. This beast shouldn’t stay in a captivity.

Soooo cyooot! As a major fan of reptilians, I approve of this little guy. I must say I don't get as many exotic lifeforms in my own dreams, so I'm only mildly jealous ;D

Super cute! Very impractical mouth biologically speaking, although i can imagine it uses them to sense prey nearby. The inside of the mouth should not be slippery if it want's to catch butterflies 
Btw so green! Last week I learned that green is actually a difficult color to color with as it can become saturated quite easily. I see that here haha not that it's a bad thing, it's super pretty. <3

Well, on the other hand, his mouth whiskers are not for sensing prey, but for attraction. It was waving them slowly in the air like some insects (actually existing and using this technique). And when a butterfly is near, he would use its extendable tongue to catch it, like a chameleon, so his mouth doesn't need any specific shape. Well, he had some tiny teeth anyway, like all lizard, I guess. And anyway, he would touch these whiskers with a tongue and likely damage them at some point, so yeap, biologically speaking, not a great design
It's a Corel Painter. Yeap, brushes are everything. I don't have any other than basic ones too. I'm ok with basics for now. Don't know how it goes...a situation with brushes in Krita
I get lost every time when it comes to colors. Never can choose between less saturation and more saturation when all is done. It all looks good to me, so I just follow a mood at a moment. Also brightness/ contrast. I play with it for a while and then choose between a few saves. Yeap, I made it pop a lot

I wander; stickbugs "wave" their legs to looks like a real plants. Do you think little hunter do the same? Also, do you think those "lips" work like cat's moustaches? Are those feel movements of the air?

His whiskers were pretty flexible, so I guess... yes, it could feel the air and everything touching them. I also wonder... do his whiskers often stick to his tongue when he catches his prey?
