Hi I know I said I'd make new art soon but tbh not even I expected it to be this soon lol

Yesterday I had a strong urge to draw Godzilla Junior and Mothra Leo, pretty much out of nowhere really, so I made a sketch of them that I wasn't really planning on doing much with. That is until I finished the sketch and sat down and realized that it looked pretty good so I actually ended up rendering it lmao

It's been some time since I drew ship art of these two (I think I last have around September, but honestly I don't really remember so uh yeah). I finally drew them together as humans and I think it all turned out pretty well!

Junior and Leo are like probably my second fav Kaiju ship (first is Gigan and Motrha, obviously lol). Seeing these two together just makes me really happy. I really think they'd have a really interesting dynamic and I think that they could work well both platonically and romantically (hence my decision to write them in my AU as childhood best friends who end up becoming boyfriends during their early adulthood). This piece is kinda supposed to illustrate one of their very first moments in their romantic relationship. I'd say they're both around 19 here.

I had a lot of fun drawing this piece! I will make sure to make more new art soon, to compensate for my massive inactivity from this month lol
