Description
the punishing pentapodes are just one of republic city's many not-exactly-up-and-coming pro-bending teams. they are best known for their casual disregard for the rules and their truly awful banter, which has earned them the nickname "puntapodes" from their small but definitely existent fanbase.

the puntapodes are not the most skilled team in republic city, but they might just have just the worst sense of humor.

current members of the team:

onji cheung | 22, earthbender | official captain of the puntapodes. onji has no idea why because she is also unofficial laziest buttface of the puntapodes.

an-qi tsai | 21, firebender | official dog wrangler of the puntapodes. met onji in a dim sum restaurant and got into a bending fight over the bill.

si jia hao | 21, waterbender | official common sense of the puntapodes. was seated at the table across from onji and an-qi and ended up bailing the two out when the police were called.

linjun "leon" chen | 32, nonbender | official trainer. was walking past the dim sum restaurant when he caught a glimpse of the chaos inside. is in it to win it, mostly so he can buy a satomobile with his share of the prize money.

cheryl lao | 28, waterbender | official healer. nobody knows why she bothers to put up with all this.

gobshite | ??, nonbender | official mascot. he is a dog. they think. they're not sure about the dog part. or the he part. basically he is an enigma. but a pentapus hat looks fetching on him, so he stays.
