As a side note, there is a bathroom in the indent on the bottom right side. One day, the engineering crew complained to chief engineer Vin that there was no bathroom nearby. Vin, one of the lead designers of the ship's engineering section, was confused, as there should have been one. She double-checked the construction plans and discovered that somebody simply covered the bathroom door with some monitoring device (right of the main entrance).
Vin requested permission to make a new entrance, which the captain almost declined, suspecting a joke. The new door was then installed in the corridor.
