Description
The Children of the Moon are sort of like magical guardians, protecting their world from negative magical influences, dangerous artifacts and so on. They live in secrecy on a hidden archipel and use this script, which only they can read.
The script was inspired by Tolkien sources, such as Tengwar.
Vowels are written as diacritics above (or below) the preceding consonant. If there is no preceding consonant, or the preceding consonant is capital, a vowel carrier is used.
Double consonants are written as a single consonant with a line below.
Umlauts may happen, they are written as an additional y vowel.
Multiple vowels can be on the same consonant. They are usually added from left to right or top to bottom.

I like it! It looks very much like Tengwar. Does the circle diacritic in the letters with an umlaut specifically correspond to what I think it would, or is it by chance?

I don't know exactly what you mean. Could you tell me which letter you mean and what you think it corresponds to?
If you mean the capital 'Ä', 'Ö' and 'Ü', then the circle represents a lower-case 'e', since umlauts in German can also be written as 'Ae', 'Oe' and 'Ue'. I could have used a circle as an umlaut marker for lower-case letters. Truth is, I don't know why I didn't back when I designed this script. But that's how I wrote it down back then, so I decided to stick with it. I only added this to be able to write German with it anyway, since the language of the Children of the Moon does not contain umlauts.
