Hi man, thank you for the nice comment!

I think about 30cm, I'm was using the 18-55mm in 55. I'll try buy another lenses (maybe a 18-135mm), because this aren't good because I need to stay close and in the splash some drops shot the lenses ;/.

In this distance, I minimize the drops on lenses, but i need to crop too much

In future I want get an true macro lenses, maybe Sigma 150mm Macro HSM, because the Nikon 105mm is to expensive.

Yeah, I have same lens and I know what are You talking about! You should at least use some filter like UV or Skylight(like I do). I am also looking into buying some nikkor lenses. I work with D60!

I use UV filter, it protects the lenses form the drops, but I'm afraid of one drop splash on lenses body of camera body.

The D60 is an amazing camera, congrats!!

I'll upload more splash soon. Here in my flick , have two that I will upload this week i think.
