Description
Another in the set of unicorn artwork that I have been painting. The subject for this one is magic, and an enchanted forest pool. I hope this stirs your imagination for the story behind this scene

Is the girl a witch? She looks like one, by her garments and the pentagram pendant, which is included in a bunch of your other paintings. That really makes me wonder about the story, you're right! This is really beautiful, well done

Fell totally in love with this picture. I absolutely love the dress she is wearing, and the circlet is a nice touch. For some reason, it just sparks my interest. Then I noticed you posted it on my birthday. It's like you knew me.

I am betting you get this a lot, but.. this is so beautiful. Not even the word 'beautiful' can describe what I see. I have this love of unicorns that is childish, but seeing a unicorn in such majesty and beauty, it creates a more mature love for the creature in me. It has a sense of sophistication with the woman standing next to the unicorn caressing its muzzle, and the unicorn gazes at nothing specific, maybe the dragonfly, and it stirs within me feelings of calmness, unlike the silly feeling I get when I watch any of those My Little Pony shows.
This, my friend, is what a unicorn should present. Not a girly feeling of happiness, but contentment and serenity.

I must say that this piece is rather breath taking, I myself could never achieve such beauty in an art piece, I'd never have the patents that you most have had to conjure up such a beautiful portrait, the details in her dress are very real, and the reflection is even more breath taking, the unicorn next to her is how I always see them, poetically spellbinding, each color stands out, everything stands out even that pink flower that floats in the water, I love how you have the lines in the dress and the color of her skin, her hair how its flowing through the wind, there is hardly a world to describe such a beautiful piece of work, keep up the work, and your being added to my watch list.

God, your work is absolutely gorgeous... I'm a life-long equestrian and horse/unicorn/Pegasus/whatever lover... I'm currently downloading The Last Unicorn (again) as well as Legend and plan on watching them today... I also have the graphic novels and the books by Peter S. Beagle. I LOVE your portfolio and am SO glad I stumbled across it here!
